Phase 4 - Follow Your Destiny

You have slain the monsters that once plagued these lands.

An era of peace descends upon the world.

It is an opportunity for reflection. Having the freedom to go anywhere you wish, you have a choice to make: Which path will I take now?

Will you seek out more mythical beasts to defeat? Or will you return to your village and share your new knowledge and skills with your people?

It is not a decision to be made lightly, but it is a decision you will make with joy.

In Phase 4, you can study whatever you want.

You are good enough at Japanese to now use it for whatever purpose calls to you. For example, we'll explore how to:

• Master JLPT N1 grammar (i.e. qualify to be a translator).
• Study content you love (e.g. study through the structured enjoyment of anime, manga, light novels, blog articles, etc.).
• Get paid to use Japanese.

Hitting Phase 4 essentially gives you the right to call yourself "fluent" in Japanese (as vague as that term may be). That said, you'll probably start comparing yourself to native speakers and feel there is oh-so-much Japanese still waiting to be discovered... like me.

A nice bonus of hitting Phase 4 is being good enough at Japanese that fun activities like playing video games, chatting with friends, or watching TV shows start to qualify as productive studying. ^_^
